What is Low E ?
Low E , (low emissivity), glass is high performance window glass made with an invisible thin metallic coating that blocks heat flow. Atria windows feature AFG Comfort Ti-R® Low E glass with Argon. Its titanium coating has 26% better heat retention during heating months and cuts summer cooling costs by more than 33% compared to clear glass.

Reduces condensation.
Cold glass and warm, moist indoor air can cause damaging condensation. Comfort Ti-R® keeps glass warmer, which reduces condensation and, in turn, fights deterioration and stains on window casings.

How It Works
According to nature, heat always flows towards cold. In the winter, heat from the inside flows to the outside. In the summer, the outside heat flows in toward the cooler interior. AFG's Comfort Ti-R® coating helps reflect the heat back to the inside in winter and outside in summer which translates to savings in both heating and cooling seasons.

AFG's Low E coatings can reduce sun damage and fading by up to 70%, protecting your furnishings, carpets, paint and artwork. Additionally, this glass resists condensation and drafting, ensuring greater comfort than standard clear glass.
